Thor: Love and Thunder will be releasing soon, and fans were a bit worried regarding the future of Chris Hemsworth. Some of the rumors started circulating on the internet hinted that Chris might not be donning his cape after Thor 4, however, thankfully, all those were proved false by the actor himself, who revealed that he has no plans of retiring anytime soon. The actor debut as Thor with the first film releasing back in 2011, and with his two movies approaching soon, he has been pretty busy lately.
He revealed his fate in an interview with Elle Man, and according to the translation provided by Digital Spy, his statement read, ‘Are you crazy?! I’m not going into any retirement period [laughs]. Thor is far too young for that. [He’s] only 1500 years old!’ He added that Thor 4 would definitely not his final movie in the MCU and confirms that he still has a lot of work to do before resting.
He expressed that he is extremely glad to be a part of MCU even after everything that happened in Avengers: Endgame, and he is looking forward to continuing telling the story of Thor, and he teased that his upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder will be a lot exciting and fun than his previous solo films in the MCU. He revealed that the script of Thor 4 got him extremely ‘excited,’ and there will be a ‘lot of love and a lot of lightning’ in the film. He further added that he had a lot more fun reading the script of Thor 4 and Thor: Ragnarok, and it is something to stress on since Ragnarok was no doubt a ‘brilliant’ film. Earlier, in an interview with BBC News, Taika Waititi said that Thor 4’s script is ‘so insane, and also very romantic,’ and commenting on that, he added that he is looking forward to creating a story that he has never done before.
Another thing to consider is the fact that Christian Bale has been selected as the main antagonist of the film, and he is known for his epic roles in the industry, so a clash between the two actors will be something that fans will remember for a long time. Apart from that, the fan-favorite Korg will also appear in the film.

As of now, the confirmed cast of Thor: Love and Thunder include Christian Bale (the main villain), Taika Waititi (Korg), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster / Thor), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie). We expect to hear more actors soon.
‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ is scheduled for release on 11th February 2022 in the USA. According to Natalie Portman, the production of ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will begin in Australia in early 2021.
