Boruto is training so hard panicking about his level of power like always Kakashi sensei is a guy who allows his students to figure out the problem on their own. He has already given Boruto clues so that he can master the giant Rasengan. But Boruto is unable to put his things together. Boruto thinks about what Kakashi has told him that he can intensify it more if he can move mountains. Boruto is worried that he is stuck in training because of just one thing.
Shikadai came to him again snd Boruto is happy that he is back from his mission. Boruto is surprised to know that they have been defeated by Deepa. Shikadai reveals that if Shinki wasn’t there they would have been dead and Deepa’s strength is abnormal. Shikadai advises Boruto that he doesn’t stand a chance against Deepa and he is a monster. Even if they try to attack him now all they can do is to retreat. Boruto reveals that it is not about him or Deepa and he made him realize that he is inexperienced and lacks power.

Previously on Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 170
Boruto said that he has to get strong and surpass him to progress forward. Shikadai decided to help Boruto train and Boruto’s mom brought them lunch. Meanwhile, Sarada is also making progress with her father and she manages to dodge all the blades that he threw at her using her Sharingan. Sasuke told Sarada that he is able to see the results of her training even though she can’t sustain her Sharingan for long. He said he is impressed and they both decided to take a break and talk about Sarada’s eyes.
Sarada wanted to know about how Sasuke’s Mangekyo Sharingan got awaken. Sasuke told her that they will talk about that later and Sakura shows up. Sakura is worried if Sarada’ Mangekyo Sharingan awakens it will lead her to get separated from the ones she loves just like her father. Later Chocho, Ino, and Shikadai team up to help Boruto. After a long training, they both went home and leave Shikadai with Boroto. In the morning they find out that Boruto manages to destroy the rock with his new Rasengan.
Boruto went to Kakashi and reveals that he has managed to move and turned the impossible into the possible. Boruto told him that he wants to show him and Kakashi replied that he sound confident they must try an effective method. Kakashi went with Boruto to the Leaf Police facilities and they took a powerful prisoner for Boruto to show the power of his new Rasengan. The prisoner shows up and it is Shojoji. Sasuke told Boruto that he can now show the results of his training. If he defeats him it means he has fully mastered his new Rasengan.
