Prior to Billions season 5 finale, the showtime had confirmed that there would be a fifth season of the hit drama series, which stars Paul Giamatti as well as Damian Lewis. This renewal became possible because of its viewership numbers, which were an average of 4.2 million viewers per week across platforms.
Co-President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc, Gary Levine said: “Billions’ addictive examination of wealth and power is supremely entertaining, smart and surprising.” He also added that “We’re loving season four and can’t wait to buckle up for the wild ride that Brian and David and their brilliant cast have in store for us in season five.”

It is true that when everyone is out for revenge, no one is safe. The plot of the season is that Bobby Axelrod and Chuck Rhoades, former enemies, and Wendy Rhoades, the chief counselor have come together to form an effective alliance, this alliance is formed to eradicate all of their rivals which including the likes of Grigor Andolov, Taylor Mason, Bryan Connerty, and Waylon “Jock” Jeffcoat. Two things have been the heart and soul of the which are Ambition and betrayal.

The show is rated at 8.4 on IMDB. As you can guess, the show is very highly rated, and if you want something to watch, then I would recommend watching Billions. It is an amazing show, and I am looking forward to watching the new season. There will be plenty more drama, that’s for sure.
In the season premiere, we will see Bobby Axelrod achieving another big milestone, and we would be able to see him climb the steps of success. Also, we will see that Chuck will be having issues for getting bearing. Moreover, we will also see that the pressure is high at Ace Cap as Taylor Mason is back. This will be followed by episode 2 with Axe chasing at Mike Prince’s conference, and Chuck is fighting his inner demons to try and choose new bright paths. Along with this, we will see Wendy taking over as the lead of Axe Cap.
