The Battle of Winterfell has seen fewer deaths than all people imagined before the season. Will fan favorites such as Jon Snow or the Dragon Queen herself die in the final season? Season 8, Episode 5
Reddit user u/afraidpart leaked some of the biggest spoilers almost a year ago before any material from the season was officially released. Some of his leaks happened, including the beheading of Missandei by The Mountain, and the undead being dealt within the first three episodes. He also leaked months before that only one dragon will be left, and that’s also true as Drogon is now the only dragon that Daenerys has. u/afraidpart claimed that he has friends in the animation department, who spilled the beans when they got drunk one night. Still, take these spoilers with a healthy amount of salt.
The first spoiler is that Cleganebowl (aka The Hound vs. The Mountain) will finally have a battle. The Hound will also be able to take the helmet off The Mountain to reveal a decomposing zombie skin. However, the fight will be over when both of them ended up dying in a fire by falling in.
The second spoiler is that Cersei will die but in the most unsatisfying way. It is said in the spoiler that she will watch the dragon closing in while Qyburn tries to get her out. She will be reminded about the time she blew up the Great Sept of Baelor. She will then go into a chamber where Jaime will show up. They will hold each other’s hands before everything crumbles around them.
The third and the last one suggests that Jon will kill Daenerys as she touches the throne. Jon, on the other hand, doesn’t know why he did it and has no idea what happened. Drogon will get Dany’s body but will not kill Jon. In addition, Game of Thrones season 8 episode 5 will finally see Tyrion giving up with Dany and throws away his pin.
