Game of Thrones VR Game Announced: Platforms And Price
The legendary series Game of Thrones has finally ended, and with it gone, the fans are sad. But if you are missing the series that much you will be happy to hear that it is coming back again with a VR game that is called as Beyond The Wall. This game is exclusive to HTC’s Viveport Infinity subscription platform.
According to Engadget, this new VR game you will join the ancient order of the Night’s Watch. You will be defending the Wall from the army of the dead, and you will be battling Wights, undead polar bears with a flaming sword. This game is currently available in the US, UK, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina.
To play it, you will need an HTC Viveport Infinity subscription. This service gives “unrestricted access to the service’s library of over 600 apps and games” and “exclusive membership benefits such as the revamped Viveport Video application.”
This subscription cost $12.99 / £12.99 per month, and on the other hand, an annual subscription will cost $99 / £99, but of course, that’s not the only cost involved with VR gaming. A compatible VR headset is required to play it like HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift, although Viveport Infinity is also getting support for Windows Mixed Reality headsets from June 5.
