X-Men: Dark Phoenix – Release Date And Updates

Dark Phoenix hasn’t had a good year with the delays, the heavy reshoots, and some really bad press. But there are fans of the franchise who assume that Simon Kinberg, the director will not disappoint. Reports suggest that X-Men Dark Phoenix is going to be Fantastic Four level bad. Fantastic Four came out back in 2015 and was a pretty little disaster, it too faced the same re-shoots, delays and eventually ended up bombing at the box office. It doesn’t mean Dark Phoenix is going to perform like Fantastic Four at the box office, at all. Like for example with Venom. Venom too was early on built by the media as similar to Fantastic Four and look what it did at the box office.

X-Men: Apocalypse wasn’t that big of a deal, it came and went by without anyone even taking notice. Simon Kinberg, the director, has gone on the record to say that X-Men: Dark Phoenix will make up for the shortcomings of the 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand. The story adaptation is pretty much supposed to be the same. No one at this point can predict how Dark Phoenix will be received.

Dark Phoenix, the upcoming movie will be the final in the Fox-produced X-Men series. X-Men movies went on Twitter to say that there was still hope with Dark Phoenix, this cryptic tagline is to do something with the storyline. The image posted by X-Men movies on Twitter shows mutants in black.

People have complaints with the casting of Dark Phoenix too. Reports suggest that fans are counting on Dark Phoenix to bomb at the box office like 2006’s saga. X-Men Dark Phoenix is to be out of February 14, 2018. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Sophie Turner, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Even Peters and Jessica Chastain
