The newest Prime series is David Tennant and Michael Sheen’s Good Omen. It has been continuously touted as the most anticipated shows of 2019, and it will come straight from the literary duo, Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Good Omens is based upon the fantasy novel of the same name which is written by the two authors mentioned above. It is progressing to debut on Amazon Prime Video. David Tennant and Michael Sheen will feature in the lead roles. And a host of A-listers will feature in the TV show too.
For those of you who don’t know, Neil Gaiman will service as show-runner. He will write all six episodes. Good Omen is being co-produced in association with the BBC. But Good Omen will first release on Amazon and later on the BBC. The premise of the show is that it was set in 2018. This is when humanity prepares for an imminent apocalypse. Angel (Sheen) plus a demon (Tennant) will join teams in order to try and sabotage the end of the world.
The six hour-long episodes of Good Omen are all set to release on May 31, 2019, on Amazon Prime. It is being said that Good Omen will air weekly on BBC2 in the UK round about six months later. It is a co-production between Amazon and the BBC. This will be followed by a terrestrial TV broadcast all around the world.
