One Piece: Stampede is just a week or so away from its premiere in Japan and earlier today, the voice actors of the Strawhats, along with a bunch of other lucky people got the chance to watch the movie. As expected, the spoilers for the movie have poured out and we’ll be sharing all of them with you in this post down below.
The movie is said to be very similar to Dragon Ball Super: Broly in that it is focused more on combat, and less on the story. About 80-90% of the characters in the series are involved in the movie, according to what we’ve heard. Thanks to Sandman from Arlong Park, we have all the information that we need about the movie, so let’s get started!
Before we begin, please note this post contains official spoilers from the movie in detail. If being spoiled is not for you, we suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started. Also, note that we did not create the spoilers or leaked them. They’re available all over the internet.
One Piece: Stampede Official Spoilers
We start with the Knock Up Stream that is drawn in the film. An island that contains “Roger’s treasure” is shown and everyone rides on Knock Up Stream and starts a race in order to reach the island as fast as they can.
As the movie progresses, we see lots of great fights, and Usopp has loads of screentime. Characters such as Crocodile make an appearance and even have important roles to play as we move forward. The Worst Generation all have decent roles. We see Urouge fight against Luffy in the movie, although Luffy doesn’t go Gear 4.
The fight against Douglas Bullet is huge. Almost every Supernova goes against him. Capone’s Big Father has no effect on him. Meanwhile, Nami and Franky fight some fodder characters. Zoro clashes against Fujitora in a pure swordsman fight. It results in a draw. Sentomaru gets defeated by Perona.
The main fight of the film is between Douglas Bullet, and a group that includes Luffy, Boa, Sabo, Law, Lucci, Crocodile and Usopp. Bullet’s strength was equal to Rayleigh when he was in the Roger Pirates. Since then, he has grown in strength and is now stronger than Rayleigh.
Bullet reveals a new Devil Fruit ability that we have yet to see in the manga. Bullet’s giant robotic body is destroyed thanks to help from Luffy’s team and then Luffy fights Bullet 1v1. This battle goes on for a very long time and ultimately Luffy defeats him in Snakeman (presumably).
It’s not mentioned what happened to Bullet after he lost. Maybe he will be sent back to Impel Down considering the island is surrounded by many Marines. In the end, Festa gets defeated by Sabo. It’s not mentioned whether Festa gets captured by Revolutionary Army or Marines.
