Fans of Arrowverse have been following every small detail related to the show. The main reason behind their anticipation is the Arrowverse crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths. This is going to serve as the conclusion to the adventure of Oliver Queen, and acting as the biggest event yet in the franchises that are still ongoing. The superheroes are running low on fuel and it will take a gargantuan effort to bring down Anti-Monitor. The role of Anti-Monitor is being played by LaMonica Garrett.
There is little to no information available on this character’s time in the Arrowverse crossover. However, it is safe to assume that he is going to pretty similar to his comic book counterpart. In an interview, Garrett talked about his role. He said, “The Monitor is an obscure character for a lot of people. You know, people hate The Monitor right now because of what he’s doing to the world, but he’s actually trying to do it for the greater good if you know the comic books. Anti-Monitor is not obscure. He’s well-known for Marvel fans and DC fans as just one of the biggest bads that ever walked this planet so when they told me that, I kind of got a little misty-eyed. I got a little emotional and I was like ‘are you kidding me?'”
Garrett also said that he wanted to be a part of the comic book world, so when the opportunity to play the roles of The Monitor and The Anti-Monitor came knocking, it was an unreal feeling for him.
Crisis on Infinite Earths will start on December 8 on Supergirl, it runs through a Monday episode of Batwoman and then through Tuesday’s episode of The Flash.
