After a super-colossal success of Aquaman DCEU’s second-biggest hit, ‘Wonder Woman’ is all ready to return with a sequel. Wonder Woman showed to be a more significant and critical success than anyone could have predicted. The sequel is titled ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ as it would take place way before any events of Justice League or other DCEU movies.
Wonder Woman is one of 2017’s biggest blockbusters. It was no surprise that Gal Gadot would be donning her cape once again. Wonder Woman 2is one of the most discussed topics as the movie’s release has been a delay due to production delays.
When Is Wonder Woman 2 update?
Wonder Woman 2 will be released in Cinemas on is set for June 5, 2020. The movie is originally titled Wonder Woman 1984.
Gal Gadot herself revealed the exact date on her twitter post. Sources have been clear about how Wonder Woman 2 would take place in the 1984 timeline(clear by the title of the movie as well), making it a chronological sequel by about 70 years.

The first Wonder Woman movie is set in 1918 which is towards the end of World War I, whereas WW84 is set in the ’80s which should follow the Cold War era, this would put Princess Diana in the modern day but yet before any Justice League Timeline.
Director of Wonder Woman 2 Jenkins declared in an interview that this story would bring Princess Diana in the USA as her further stories are set on American Land. If you’re wondering whom Diana would go against in this movie, sources have confirmed we would see her classic foe, Cheetah. ‘Cheetah’ is British archaeologist Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva. She is cursed to transform into a cheetah woman who hungers for human flesh. ‘Cheetah’ is often portrayed as Wonder Woman’s old friend.
We are told that Wonder Woman 2 may shock quite a lot of you when it does come out. For one, we’re told that it is not a sequel. Earlier, we discussed rumors about this, but now it’s been made certain. The Producer Charles Roven says that it’ll be more along the lines of the Bond films, which can stand independently.
The movie is set for a December 2019 was pushed back production reasons. Director Patty Jenkins also thinks that the upcoming Wonder Woman movie is going to be set in America. She said that the story will take place in the U.S. and that this is the right time for her to do so.
