Mazda Skyactiv X is an amazing car that has stolen the hearts of many people through its design and interior. In the European market, it has an amazing engine which produces 178 horsepower and 164 pound-feet of torque. It was also revealed that Skyactiv-X engine is available on the high-end GT and GT Plus models. These two can come with a manual or automatic gearbox. The company revealed this car at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Mazda Skyactiv X will go on sale in the United States in the month of March, and it will have a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, that can produce 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft. As for the Price, it will start at $21,000 for a base model, and it will reach as high as $28,900 in the US.
On the other hand in Slovakia, this car will start at 23,190 euros, and the automatic transmission one will start at 29,290 euros. This car runs on a combustion process that is called a Spark Controlled Compression Ignition. The lean mixture that has a high proportion of air to gasoline helps put even more oxygen into the cylinders. Moreover, just before the spontaneous combustion is about to happen, the spark plug ignites the mixture. Also, Mazda estimates that this tech will improve fuel economy by 20 to 30 percent.
