Fans of This Country have been waiting for the next season of the show since long now, and even today, there is a lot of confusion surrounding its return. Don’t worry, we’re here to answer your questions, and we’ll be talking about everything that we know related to the third season of This Country. This Country Season 3: When Will It Return?
The second season of the show premiered back in February 2018 after the first season did more than enough to secure a renewal. The popularity of the show skyrocketed soon enough, and at the BAFTAs 2018, the show won two awards — Best Scripted Comedy and Best Female Comedy Performance for Daisy May Cooper.
This pretty much meant that the third season of the show was going to happen, and on 20 April 2018, BBC announced that This Country would return with its 3rd season soon enough. Given that the show has been very popular, we’re not surprised that it’s been renewed for yet another season and we’re sure that the show will continue to get better, and better. Afor the show hasn’t been announced yet, but we do know that it’ll premiere sometime around October 2019.
The Country is created by Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper, who also star in the show as two cousins. Tom George is the director of the series while Simon Mayhew-Archer serves as the producer, and Stephen McCrum is the executive producer.
