Strike Back is an action-adventure drama television series that is based on the novel of the same name by novelist and former Special Air Service (SAS) soldier Chris Ryan. The series closely follows the actions of Section 20, which is a hidden branch of the British Defence Intelligence service (DI). Section 20 undertakes many risky missions throughout the globe. The six-part first series began broadcasting on Sky One on 5 May 2010.
The series was renewed for a sixth season on December 8, 2016, by Cinemax and Sky. It was released on October 31, 2017, on Sky One in the UK, and in the US on Cinemax on February 2, 2018. The renewal for the seventh series came in March 2018. The filming for the show ended in late 2018, so a release of January 25, 219 was set. Strike Back was renewed for its eighth and final season on February 27, 2019, by Cinemax.
We currently have no confirmedfor the eighth season of the show. We can expect it to be released in late 2019 or early 2020. This will be the final season in the series. The show stars: Warren Brown, Daniel MacPherson, and Alin Sumarwata. There are new cast members as well which include— Jamie Bamber and Yasemin Allen.
