After the revelation of Google Pixel 3A and 3A XL at Google I/O, people want to know whether there will be any more information about Pixel 4 and 4XL. We might not get information on the Pixel 4 and 4XL for another few months. The next generation of Pixel devices will be much faster, and of course, they will be loaded with Android 10. Pixel 4 and 4 XL are known to be internally codenamed Flame and Coral. The two devices have been pretty popular with concept artists.
According to the concept of art, the Pixel 4 XL will have a dual-lens camera. This would make it the first phone by Google to have two lenses on the rear. Many might think that two lenses aren’t enough as the current generation has three and even four cameras on the rear. But, we know that Google has managed to provide the best camera with a just single lens. So, we don’t need to worry much about it.
The other concepts show Pixel 4 and 4 XL having an all-screen display and dual-lens selfie camera. The speakers are directly built into the screen. The standard model would be close to 6in, and the XL version would be 6.6in.
The phone is expected to be released in October 2019. There is still some time remaining but, we can expect several leaks on the way before it gets released.
Now coming to the price. The big difference maker in the price would be whether Google chooses to have 5G for Pixel 4 and 4XL. If they go with the same 4G route, then we could have a similar price like Pixel 3 and 3 XL, which retail at £739 and £869 respectively for the base models.
Google has known to place a very strong focus on photography, and their main focus is on the algorithms behind the tech. This time they could add a second telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom to the Pixel 4.
The phone will most likely be equipped with the brand-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip that was released last December.
