November 12 was a historic day for The Simpsons, indeed. The show, which proudly touts itself to be the-longest-running-animated comedy on American TV, was never available as a whole on any of the streaming services, But Disney+ changed that. Since The Simpsons are available on Disney +, there’s a lot that fans are curious about. After all, Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, and Maggie found themselves a home.
For those of you curious to know, Seasons 1 through 30 of The Simpsons is on Disney+ straightaway. What’s missing is the current and 31st season. This means that Disney+ boats of the largest collection of Simpsons content of any major streaming service.
There’s a catch here as well. One of the episodes out of The Simpsons’ 30 seasons that isn’t on Disney+ is “Stark Raving Dad.” Back in March, it was announced that the Season 3 episode would be pulled from the service. This was done in the wake of HBO’s explosive docuseries Leaving Neverland, Matt Groening, James L. Brooks, and Al Jean decided to pull the episode from streaming. The said episode featured Michael Jackson as the voice of Leon Kompowsky.
The Simpsons have been officially described as an animated sitcom about the antics of a dysfunctional family by the same name. It’s the longest-running animated series in prime time network television.
