Samurai 8 is a sci-fi samurai story written by Masashi Kishimoto, the author of Naruto, and illustrated weekly by Akira Okubo. The manga began its serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in mid-2019 and has consistently been delivering decent chapters since. The manga follows the adventure of Hachimaru, a feeble boy who needs life support to live. However, with a threat looming over his family, Hachimaru attempts to sacrifice his own life to protect those close to him. Surprisingly, doing so turns Hachi into a full-blown Samurai and grants him powers that are unimaginable! Thus, his adventure finally begins.
