Sesame Street has been with us for a very long time. Basically, it has been a part of our childhood and many others before us. Recently, the U.S Postal Service announced in a press release that they are going to introduce a line of stamps which will be inspired by Sesame Street characters and they will be designed by Art Director Derry Noyes.

The stamps are there to celebrate 50 years of the educational children’s series. There are a total of 16 new stamps, and they will feature some of the most well-known characters. These include Bert, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Ernie, Grover, Abby Cadabby, Oscar the Grouch, Snuffleupagus, The Count, Rosita, Zoe, and Elmo.

USPS said, “For the last 50 years, [Sesame Street] has provided educational programming and entertainment for generations of children throughout the country and around the world.”

All of us have great memories with the show, and there is no doubt that every one of us has watched the show at some point. Personally, I appreciate this gesture by the USPS. It is a brilliant gesture, and I am really happy that they decided to make stamps. There is no release date for the stamps yet but, we should expect them to be released soon. We will keep you updated so make sure to check out our website.
