The list of the much awaited 2019’s XXL Freshman Class is here and in its 12th year, the franchise has given hip hop rising Stars and helped them in order to be on the forefront of the culture. Because of the social media as well as the hip hop fans, the XXL Freshman has increased in popularity year after year. For those who don’t know how this works is the organization talks to the industry tastemakers, rappers, hip hop heads and get their opinion on who should be picked for the class. This year’s Freshman Class has 11 artists who are as follows:

• DaBaby
• Lil Mosey
• Roddy Ricch
• YBN Cordae
• YK Osiris
• Rico Nasty
• Gunna
• Megan Thee Stallion
• Blueface
Next month, XXL will release the content of each artist that has made into the 12th annual Freshman Class. You might ask what content well; it includes things like behind-the-scenes moments, solo interviews, freestyles, cyphers, and round table discussions. They are doing this so that fans can know each artist and what they represent. This magazine will be releasing on 16 July.
After this amazing thing is released, the fans can see these Freshmen hit the stage to perform for the 2019 XXL Freshman show at New York City’s PlayStation Theater on 22 July. Los Angeles XXL Freshman show will take place on 25 July at The Novo. But the awesome stuff doesn’t end there, this year’s XXL Magazine Summer 2019 will also have last year’s Freshmen and in the honors of XXXTentacion, Nipsey Hussle and Mac Miller from their fellow Freshman classmates and many more things.
