Will There Be a Movie Based On Control?
The screenwriter of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Whitta began a QnA session on Twitter and urged the fans to ask all kinds of questions, and one of the fans asked a very interesting question. Noah Dekel asked, ‘What video game do you think would make the best movie? And would you write it?’
Whitta instantly replied that he would love to work on a movie based on Control, a unique action game which allows the games to experience the world in different perspective without having to care about the boundary between what is real and what is virtual.
Although it does not mean that we will get the movie, as its still a concept, given the performance of the game, it won’t be surprising to see Remedy Entertainment investing and bringing Whitta onboard for a Control movie.
