HALALA, for those of you wondering if a practice in Islam in which a divorcee in order to marry her first husband has to marry someone else and divorce him. So it means, HALALA becomes the third nikah to the first husband. HALALA is produced and directed by Falguni Shah and Deepak Shah respectively.
In Season 1, we saw a couple Afza and Raahil who in a state of marital bliss. Shortly, things go haywire, and Raahil gives triple talaq to Afza, out of anger, only to regret it later. He asks for Afza’s hand again but learns about the practice of HALALA. So Afza has to do Nikah Halala, and after divorce, she can remarry Raahil. Raahil gets his cousin Zaid to marry Afza, and that’s from where the story begins.

Season 2 of HALALA has no confirmed date as of now. Ullu hasn’t cared to make an official statement in this regard. But we sure hope we get a confirmation soon. More as we have it.
