Fire Force Season 2

Fire Force Season 2

Fire Force Season 1 was a pretty good hit, and it’s no surprise that the production team want to continue with the same momentum, and if early rumors are true, then fans are in for a treat, as the imminent season will be very intense and will top the first part. The original manga also progressed at a healthy rate so there should be enough source material for them to continue it for a longer season, and with it releasing today, we are looking forward to seeing in which angle it kicks off.

The anime show is set Tokyo’s Solar Era of the year 198, and the story follows the special fire officers who have a humongous responsibility on their shoulders of fighting off the ‘Infernals,’ referred to humans who have been turned into living infernos. Things get more complicated when the second-generation Infernals comes into the scene as these are more dangerous because of their ability to manipulate the flame while retaining their human form. The story revolves around the life of the main protagonist Shinra Kusakabe, a special individual with the power to ignite his feet joins up Special Fire Force Company 8 to combat these forces. While working he discovers the reason behind all this mess and what killed his family 12 years ago.

Fire Force Season 2 will continue the story from the final events of season 1 and will pick up the later volumes of the manga. Shinra will be continuing his journey of saving the people from the Infernals, and at the same time, he will strive to find the White Clad’s ulterior motives. Season 2 will also explore the heroes as they prepare to put an end to Evangelist, and it will be interesting to see if they work under one roof to achieve it.
