Things have gotten worse in another world Subaru and Garf are being chased by the shadow monster. Subaru told Garf that they must head straight to the mansion he wants to know what is happening. He has to stop everything and Garf replied that if he uses him as bait he will bite off his fingers. Garf reveals that the old hag, Ram, and everyone has already got swallowed up by the shadow monster.
Garf doesn’t want Subaru to be swallowed too and they both stop in the middle of the forest. Garf also explains that the whole ground was engulfed by the shadow before he even realized it. All thanks to Ram who sent him flying with her wind before he got swallowed. A group of Ryuzu clones shows up to help Subaru and Garf encounters the monster. Garf told Subaru that he must not worry about them they are just empty inside there is no real one.

Previously on Re Zero-Starting Life in Another World Season 2 Episode 35
Suddenly the shadow monster appears and Ryuzu clones start to clash with it. Garf transforms into a form of a tiger and helps Ryuzu to take down the monster. All Ryuzu’s clones got blown away and Subaru is watching Garf the tiger fighting the monster. Garf tries to use his claws to tear the monster apart but it captures him on air. The monster uses its shadow and spears Garf who disappears. Subaru listeners to the monster who is telling him ” I Love You, I love you.”
Subaru told the monster to shut up saying that his heart has already been taken. It doesn’t even deserve to be in the first room or second room of his heart. Subaru said that he might love other witches or Echidna except for the shadow monster witch. The monster got angry and wraps Subaru with its powerful shadow. Subaru is in pain inside the shadow.
The witch insists on Subaru to love her by saying ” Love me, Love me.” Subaru notices that he is not dead yet the witch’s shadow is just engulfing him. It is just going to keep on loving him forever. While Subaru is being engulfed he notices Petra’s handkerchief. He asks himself if Echidna knows that this is going to happen. Subaru stabs himself and removes the veil covering the witch and he saw Emilia and promised that he is going to save her.
Subaru wakes up inside the graveyard and finds Emilia safe near him. They both wake up and Emilia console Subaru who is shedding tears. They end up meeting with everyone outside all thanks to Subaru who killed himself to change destiny. Subaru told Emilia that all the time he saves her. He wants her not to look on his weak side or still think like he is a loser. Everyone is happy and safe Subaru went back to the mansion and gets his hand treated.
