In the morning Rika is looking at her calendar and others are preparing to get ready for their day. Akasaka Yukie is happy that since they have moved in Keiichi hasn’t skipped breakfast. Later Keiichi met with Rena and they walk together talking about waiting for each other. On the way, they met with Miyo who is missing Keiichi since he was not around for two days. Two days before, Keiichi went home to attend his family funeral and Miyo asks if he manages to get time to look for a Western game catalog.
Keiichi replied that he didn’t get free time. They both reach the school and find out that Satoka played a prank on Keichi who falls for it. They both reunite with all of their friends that and Rika told Satoko to stop crying she will get Keiichi next time on a bigger trap. On Sunday 12 June Mion give Keiichi a tour of Hinamizawa. Keiichi, Rena, Mion enjoyed their tour together they both reach Furude Shrine. Mion said that they are going to hold a festival at Furude next Sunday.

Keiichi has to know everything about Hinamizawa since he is new around. Later Rika and Satoko join them when they are eating lunch and they enjoy it together. After enjoying their tour they both went home and Keichi along with Reka enters a no trespassing area. Reka told Keiichi to wait for she is coming back, while he is waiting a man shows up. Keiichi got scared and he said that he is Tomitake a freelance photographer.
Tomitake talked about the grisly incident and said that he has heard that one of his arms is still missing. Keiichi wanted to know what Tomitake is talking about but Reka came back and interrupt them. Tomitake told them to follow him he will show them around. He also apologizes to Keiichi for scaring him and Reka said she has found a Kenta statue. Keiichi is worried about what Tomitake said and he asks Reka if something has happened.
Reka said that she doesn’t know since she just moved in a year ago. The next day at school Mion said that they must play a scavenger hunt. She is going to hide the pen whoever finds it first will be the winner. Satori manages to get the pen first by tricking Rika and wins. After school, Keiichi and Rena went to the no trespassing area again. Keiichi finds out about the murder that took place at the Hinamizawa dam construction site.
