The Brandy Bunch house is pretty iconic, and it is about to go into business once again. The house will start welcoming visitors pretty soon. The star of the series Maureen McCormick revealed a new entryway on her social media account. She posted a photo which featured her in the doorway along with former costar Christoph Knight and HGTV personalities Jonathan and Drew Scott (Property Brothers).
The home has served as the location on which the sitcom was filmed. The home is getting a massive makeover all thanks to HGTV. The house will be showcased on the new show, which is titled, A Very Brady Renovation.
It was previously announced that the original cast members— McCormick, Knight, Mike Lookinl (Bobby), Barry Williams (Greg), Eve Plumb (Jan), and Susan Olsen (Cindy) were gathered in order to walk through the newly renovated digs.
The winning bid for the Brady Bunch house was made by HGTV in August last year. They beat former NSYNC member Lance Bass, who had announced beforehand that his offer for the house had actually been accepted. Since there has been a complete overhaul of the home, and there is also an addition of 2,000 square feet to the floor plan.
According to reports, it has been planned that the house should be returned to its former glory. It is reportedly the most photographed home in America only behind the White House. This speaks volumes about the popularity of The Brady Bunch home.
There is no exact update for A Very Brady Renovation. All we know is that it will air sometime in September 2019. The show will feature a lot of celebrity guests. It was a great move by HGTV to restore the home to a former self. A lot of people would have memories tied with the show.
