‘The World of the Married’ Kdrama Episode 3: Release Date and Streaming Details

The World of the Married is the newest K-drama from the network JTBC that premiered on March 27 starring Kim Hee Ae (Second to Last Love) and Park Hae Joon (Arthdal Chronicles) in the leading roles.

Also known by the title of Couple’s World, the drama is created by Kang Eun Kyung and written by Joo Hyun. Mo Wan Il is serving as the director of the show. The show is produced by JTBC Studios and will consist of a total of 16 episodes.

When the first episode aired, it surpassed the first episode rating of hit shows like Itaewon Class and every other JTBC K-drama from the past. The episode achieved a nationwide Nielsen TV rating of 6.260%, which is equivalent to 1.2 million viewers in Korea. The show then went on to garner a 10% rating for its second episode, which makes it the first-ever JTBC K-drama to reach such a rating.

The drama is based on the 2015 UK television series Doctor Foster.

The World of the Married Episode 3 Release Date

The World of the Married episode 3 will release on Friday, April 3, 2020, at 22:50 KST (Korea Standard Time). The show releases two episodes weekly, and the fourth episode will air on Saturday.

What is The World of the Married About?

Based on the 2015 BBC One drama Doctor Foster by Mike Bartlett, The World of the Married also sees a comeback to the small screen in Kim Hee Ae who plays family medicine doctor Ji Sun Woo. Sun Woo has an extremely successful career working as an associate director in her hospital and has a seemingly happy family.  She is married to Lee Tae Oh (played by Park Hae Joon) and the two experience a fallout in their marriage due to his betrayal. She suspects that her husband is having an affair and these feelings of suspicions soon turn into anger and resentment towards her husband.

Lee Tae Oh, on the other hand, wants to become a movie director as it is his dream. He has his own entertainment business that he runs with the help and support of his wife Ji Sun Woo. He gets into a relationship that screams doom for his marriage. The K-drama is full of mind boggling twists and turns and so far has only shown itself to be of high quality.
