FX revealed that due to the production challenges and scheduling issues of the eleventh season of Archer, it will no longer premiere on May 6th, instead, it will premiere late this year.

What is Archer Season 11 about?
The official confirmation of Season 11 came in July 2019. Created by Adam Reed, the series follows the character of Archer, who is a dysfunctional secret agent along with his gang of 7 members, and according to the latest updates, Reed wouldn’t be participating much in the production of Season 11.
The executive producer Casey Willis revealed in 2019’s San-Diego Comic-Con that Archer would wake up from his coma and will return to the spy world after his hiatus in Season 11. In an interview with EW, Willis revealed that Season 11 would explore the dynamics of the Archer’s return to the spy world, which has moved on without him, and Archer’s reaction, along with his change in his perspective towards the world will be a crucial area to explore.
