Crunchyroll recently streamed the first episode of the English dub for the anime adaptation of Nozomu Koryu’s light novel, titled “Sweet Reincarnation.” The English dub features a talented cast led by ADR Director Shawn Gann and ADR producer Colleen Clinkenbeard. The anime debuted in Japan on July 3, and Crunchyroll streams the anime as it airs.
The cast members of the English dub include Trina Nishimura voicing Pas, Molly Zhang voicing Marc, Reshel Mae voicing Lumi, David Matranga voicing Casserole, Charles Nguyen voicing Feuille, Cassie Ewulu voicing Agnes, Thi Le voicing Josephine, Randy Pearlman voicing Priest, Sarah Natochenny as God, and Shawn Gann voicing Patissier.
At its sweet core, Sweet Reincarnation is a new and improved twist on the isekai genre, mixing it with a sugary delight that leaves the audience drooling for more. The manga series, written by Nozomu Koryu and illustrated by Yasuyuki Shuri, wasn’t enough to satisfy the reader’s sweet tooth, so an anime adaptation came to be.

The Plot of Sweet Reincarnation
In the delectable world of Sweet Reincarnation, a 9-year-old Pastry Mille Morteln, finds himself reincarnated in another world as an unsatisfied pastry chef. Pretty normal, right? Well, it is for the isekai genre. Now, as the successor to his father’s legacy, he has a lot to achieve in this new world, but all he can think of is baking a delicious apple pie!
But before he can start his sweet baking adventure, he needs to check off a long to-do list. From mastering the art of fighting to using his newfound magical abilities to save his village from rowdies, Pastry Mille’s new life is nowhere close to simple. Yet, Pastry Mille’s true passion remains ignited as he looks for every opportunity to bake a tasty treat.
Naoyuki Kuzuya will be taking the directorial role for this adaptation, with Synergy SP and Studio Comet producing the anime. Mitsutaka Hirota will be handling the scripts, Tomoko Miyakawa will design the characters, and the music will be composed by Hiroshi Nakamura.
The previously released promo video revealed the theme songs; the opening theme song, Brand New Day, will be performed by Sana from Sajou no Hana, and the ending theme song, Fūmizekka (Delicious Taste), will be performed by YuNi.
