In the last two or three weeks, I’ve been having one problem with One Piece, and that’s the pacing. The pacing, at times, started feeling like too slow for my liking because the plot wasn’t really progressing. However, the previous chapter saw to it, and I think we’re going to see the exact opposite of it now.
Things will now move at an exhilarating pace now, and that’s exactly what I like. You just feel like the end of Act 2 of Wano Country is almost here, and we’ll be talking about what comes next from here onwards in this post down below. So let’s get started!

One Piece Chapter 941 saw Luffy and Hyou eat all the Oshiruko that Queen had brought for himself. At the same time, Big Mom is at Udon Prison now, and things are about to get really messed up. Over at the Flower Capital, we now know that Orochi has caught the Witching-hour Boy, who as we expected, turned out to be Yasu.
What’s more, Brook found Zoro and told him about Yasu’s execution. Yasu, as we know, is the father of Otoko. That’s not all; he’s a daimyo who stood by Oden when he was fighting against Orochi, and his real name is Yasuie. At Komurasaki’s funeral, Orochi decided to crucify Yasu, and at the same time, make an example out of him. Everyone is frantically trying to save him as Wano Act 2 reaches its conclusion.
In the next chapter of One Piece, we’ll likely see Yasu uttering his last words. I think he’ll die here, and that would be a perfect thing to usher a revolution against Orochi.
If Yasu does die, we’ll see Zoro round up the Samurai, Kinemon, Inuarashi, and Ashura Doji for a common cause and Orochi will face a lot of backlash. At the same time, we’ll also likely see Big Mom breaking into the prison, and she might try to eat the Oshiruko, only to find out that Luffy ate all of it.
The entire Shounen Jump magazine is on break next week, because of Golden Week. One Piece Chapter 942 will come out on May 13, 2019.
