We have been hearing that Naughty Dog has been targeting a update for The Last of Us: Part 2 many months now. But with Death Stranding coming to us in the holiday season, it looks like the update of our beloved game has been internally pushed back.
We call it as a delay as there wasn’t an official update for it to begin with. It was reported by a Kotaku Reporter, Jason Schreier that Last of Us Part 2 will be releasing early 2020. In a Tweet, he said:-
“Looks like Death Stranding is about to get announced for a November release. The Last of Us 2 was also planned for fall 2019, but I just heard it got bumped to early 2020, possibly February? Either way, the wild final year for PS4.”
Death Stranding will be coming in November, and that doesn’t stop there. Sony still has another game that is awaited by everyone that owns a PlayStation 4, and that is Ghost of Tsushima, which is a beautiful game that is set in Ancient Japan.
That is not it, with E3 upon us, who knows what Sony has in store are for their loyal fans. We just have to wait and see what games the amazing developers of Sony will be presenting during the E3.
Updated on 23 June 2019:
The game is nowhere near if you ask us to be on point. Nonetheless, it is not as far as it might look like. No official information makes it look like there has not been much progress, but believe me, there is plenty of stuff that has already happened, and more to come! Even the game director is frustrated with the questions related to the update of the game everywhere he goes, and he even posted a fun tweet regarding the same.
FYI… every time someone asks for the release date, the game gets pushed back by five minutes. 😈

Nonetheless, actress Ashley Johnson from Ellie suggested that the game would release in a month which starts with F. On the other side, Jason Schreier from Kotaku also had the same opinion about the game. Hence, we expect February 2019 update for the game, and it is not too far if we consider such a game!
