Akita Shoten’s Manga Cross debuted the inaugural chapter of “Last Boss Love Death” on August 1, a collaborative creation by writer Yoshikazu Kuwashima (Frontwing) and artist Takahiro Seguchi. Set in a high school backdrop, the manga humorously explores the escapades of Fūka Nagisa, Julie Yūki, and Kanon Amamiya.
These three girls are given celestial superpowers. Now, they’re tasked with vanquishing the evil Dark Skull, leader of a faction, but that takes an unexpected twist as the girls suffer defeat and subsequent abduction. Dark Skull now wants to transform them into heroic idols.
Frontwing, a famous creative powerhouse, has once again brought its artistic flair with a new manga by Yoshikazu Kuwashima. Effortlessly blending imagination and storytelling, this latest creation promises to immerse readers in a world of fantasy, with cute girls doing cute things.
With a track record of putting forward narratives that blow our minds such as Grisaia: Phantom Trigger, Frontwing’s new manga is set to capture the hearts and minds of enthusiasts. Are you ready? Because we are!

Similarly, Seguchi’s manga adaptation of Kōji Natsumi’s Girly Air Force light novel series concluded in May 2019, originating in Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in October 2018, and the final manga volume was released in July 2019.
