We have to admit, that as promised by Marvel President Kevin Feige, Wanda Vision is something Marvel had never done before and really did a splendid job as the first two episodes set an example of how the show is brilliantly adapting to different styles with the first being sitcoms.
The first episode beautifully captured the essence of The Dick Van Dyke Show as we saw Wanda and Vision paying nods to the series, including the intro itself when Vision almost falls due to the chair on his way but because of his abilities passes efficiently and later in the series with different nods to the Marvel Cinematic Universe right from the Sokovian culture and many more. The second episode itself captured the beautiful animated Hannah Barbera styled intro and nods to the classic American sitcom “Bewitched,” which was evident due to the similarities of powers between Wanda and Samantha.
So Marvel Studios have made sure that they deliver what they promised. The first two episodes were full of entertainment and didn’t leave anyone doubting the brilliant impersonation of the 50s and 60s era.
