The new all-rounder mid-sized pickup’ ‘ 2020 Nissan Frontier’ has been introduced with some new updates. Even though the truck looks quite similar to its old models, Nissan has made some major changes in the new Frontier. Let’s find out more.
Nissan Frontier is known for its rugged design, and the new update will carry on this tradition. The front end headlights are styled to modern, and the truck comes in extended and crew cabs options as well. The new front grille, the color, side fenders, four-hinged doors merge the Pro-4X vehicle into a monochrome look for sure.
Design, Interior and Comfort
We don’t find much-updated features when it comes to the interior with a new Frontier. It comes with an old narrow cabin interior design, a standard 5-inch display screen, larger knobs, and there is a Push-Start button as well. The front seats are of cloths where it can be upgradable to leather seats.
Engine, Power, and Performance
While the new Frontier is quite the same as the last model in design, features, and looks—there are major changes in engine, power, and performance.
One thing that we applause for 2020 Frontier is the engine. The engine is quite noiseless when you press the push start button. You can hear the engine when you’re revving it slightly.
The 3.8-liter V6 engine generates 310 horsepower to its four wheels and the turning power or the torque put at 281 pound-feet.
Another major change that we see in the pickup is its 9-speed automatic transmission system that surely replaces from its old variants with 5-speed automatic transmission.
The King Cab model introduces both the Rear-Wheel-Drive and All-Wheel-Drive configuration system on the S and SV models that keep the vehicle’s body controlled and allows the rides to run smoothly. The steering is good so far, and the suspension handles the big bumps and off-road well.
The release date for the new 2020 Nissan Frontier pickup is not yet confirmed, we are expecting it to launch by Fall 2020 but could get delayed amid Coronavirus Pandemic. The director, Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, and Nissan North America, Mr. Tiago Castro says, “The 2020 Frontier lays the groundwork for the exciting, next-generation Frontier – an all-new pickup truck slated to arrive soon.”
Nissan hasn’t announced pricing for the 2020 Frontier either. It will be slightly up over the previous 2019 model. The 2019 Nissan Frontier starts at $19,290.
Does 2020 Nissan Frontier a great deal?
The overall gauge of the new off-roader 2020 Nissan pickup truck has been rated average. The cheapest but the finest quality vehicle makes the deal quite appealing. Although it will be challenging to drive for some, but is so far—good value for workers.
