Kia Sorento has gone through a lot of redesigns in 2016, and it looks completely different. And all these new changes will most likely be carried to the 2020 model. 2020 Kia Sorento will have the appearance as the current generation which means it will have the refreshed grille, headlights, fog lights, front and rear bumpers, liftgate, muffler tips, taillights and also the wheels.
On the inside, it will including a brand new steering wheel, gear shift knob, instrument cluster, air vents, and center console. Its standard features list will have a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto. As for the engine, it will have a standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that will produce 185 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque.
Or it will have an optional engine which is a 3.3-liter V6 that produces 290 hp and 252 lb-ft of torque. Also, the four-cylinder engine will have the standard six-speed automatic transmission, and the V6 will retain its standard eight-speed unit. Front-wheel drive will be standard and all-wheel drive will be other available option. Now, let us talk about the safety, the current Sorento has a lot of awesome safety features like blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision, parking sensors, automatic emergency braking, warnings, adaptive cruise control.
All this earned it the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ rating, and we expect all the safety features to remain the same in the 2020 Kia Sedona. The 2020 Kia Sorento will compete against the Dodge Durango, Ford Explorer, and Honda Pilot. There is no official release date for the 2020 Kia Sorento, but it might come in the spring of 2019. The price is also unknown, but I think it will start from $27,335 to $47,535.
