According to a report from TV Series Finale, the first season got a rating of 0.17 in the demographic range of 18-49 and had a viewership of over 600,000. HBO then renewed it for a second season.

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Jesse Armstrong revealed that the audiences would be amazed to see how the theme park, the news channel and other divisions of the company runs. The show was renewed a long time ago, although there was nothing more coming out after that. We were expecting that the show would be returning at the same time as the first season released, and we were exactly on point. The show is supposed to return in Summer 2019, although an exact release date is known to none. Nevertheless, fans would be very happy to see the show back. Also, Summer 2018 release was proven good for the first season, so Summer 2019 would do even better for the second season.
