The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 Episode 5 released on Hulu earlier today, and by far it has to be the most exciting episode of the series. The promo for next episode to be released next week has come out on Hulu. Here’s everything you need to know.
Episode 6 of Season is based upon Nicole’s return, as you may have seen above. It comes out next Wednesday, June 26, 2019. The devil couple Commander Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) and Serena Joy (Yvonne Strahovski) are knee-deep in the campaign to bring baby Nicole back to Gilead.
The episode will pick up right where the previous episode left. Waterfords are broadcasting a message asking for the Canadian government to return Nicole safely back to Gilead. The promo shows Commander Waterford seemingly sternly talking and giving out a much bigger TV message to Canada. He says it’s going to be sweeping and stately.
Serena and Fred are producing videos one after the other, pressurizing the Canadian government. The couple has assembled the other Handmaid’s to stir the drama, Fred asking them to follow Serena’s lead as she begins praying. June asks Serena about the number of videos that Fred’s going to make, to which she replies as many as are needed.
June’s heartbroken and angry at Serena for shifting stances again. It is later revealed by Serena that her change in opinion was caused by her seeing Nicole. The Waterfords are hell-bent on getting Nicole back to Gilead but June is determined to stop them. Fearless, as she eyes the camera and says she’s the child’s mother and wants the baby to stay back in Canada.
Episode 4 of Season 5 will air on Channel 4 on Sunday, July, 14.
