Before we get at the latest updates lets first by taking a look at what we are going to expect from Rent a Girlfriend. Its April’s fools Kazuya’s friends introduce a girl called Nanami Mami. Kazuya greets her and he thinks that girl is the one that will be with him forever. Kazuya’s friend told Mami that Kazuya never touched a girl in his life. Kazuya yells at his friend that it is no proper way to introduce him like that.
Kazuya’s friends laughed at him and he folds his hand telling Mami that he has been practicing to become a priest ever since last week. Mami replied that it is kinda cute for him to do that. Suddenly Kazuya asks her to go out with him while bowing his head down like a priest. Mami replied yes and Kazuya is happy since it is happening for the first time in his life.

Previously on Rent-a-Girlfriend Episode 4
Kazuya and Mami keep on spending more time together just like lovers do. While on their date Kazuya told Mami that he is not used to going out on a date and Mami is his first girlfriend. Mami replied that she was involved in two relationships in high school but they both ended immediately. Mami told Kazuya that they are on the same page of life. While Mami is holding Kazuya’s hand Kazuya promised himself that he is going to make her happy for all of his life.
Later Kazuya walks her home and she gave him the first kiss. That was Kazuya’s flashbacks for the first girl who dumped him within a few weeks. Back to the present Mami apologizes while holding and kissing Kazuya who could not control himself. They both left after finding Mami’s necklace they went to their friends. While gathering around the table Kazuya thinks that Mami wants him back because she kissed him. Kazuya doesn’t know that Mami wants to know if he is in love with Mizuhara.
Kazuya falls for Mami’s trap and announces that he is breaking up with Mizuhara. Mizuhara notices that something is awkward about Kazuya and she agrees that they are breaking up. Kibe punches Kazuya and they both fight and beat each other to a pulp. Kibe taunts Kazuya for his foolish behavior and told him that he has been noticing that he is not over Mami. But he must burn to his current flame referring to Mizuhara.
Kazuya replied that Kibe did not even know how he was hurt when Mami dumped him and how much he likes her. Kibe told Mami to stop fooling Kazuya because he is falling for it. Later Kazuya and Mizuhara decided that they are over with their rental. Mizuhara told Kazuya that he did the right thing about revealing the truth and it is time to move on.
Later Kibe met with Mizuhara without knowing what is happening he asked her to give Kazuya a chance. He offers her two tickets so that they will spend time together. Kazuya was just nearby listening and the dog barks at him then he apologizes for fighting with Kibe earlier. While they are out Mizuhara fell inside the water from a ship and Kazuya jumps in to save her.
