In late August, all this was revealed to us through a tweet which showed us the new title as well as the tracklist. Moreover, Kanye’s official site reiterated that Jesus Is King is now the album by featuring Kim’s picture as its homepage. Later, reports started which said that it will be dropping on the last Friday of September but that it might not be happening now.

According to some reports, Def Jam executives have gone to Wyoming to meet with Kanye. It is still unknown why the label has decided to descend on Yeezus’ promised land but it was told by insiders that this meeting was about the release. Def Jam is trying to Push back the LP or try to talk Ye into dropping it this Friday. The co-founder of Def Jam, Rick Rubin who has also worked now Yeezus and The Life of Pablo, is said to be involved, whether for artistic or business reasons.

But there a report by The New York Times that said he is he’s “hearing from many industry people that ‘Jesus Is King’ is not coming on Friday, despite people on the ground in Wyoming trying to make it happen. On the other hand, Kim Kardashian is continuing to the regularly scheduled program. She also retweeted a post stating the album will come on the proposed date.
