If you have seen the trailer of the movie, it will remind you of Kapoor’s character in Abishekh Chaubey’s 2016 movie Udta Punjab. It sort of looks like in the trailer that Dr. Kabir Rajveer Singh is battling drug addiction and nursing a broken heart. Substance abuse such as Cocaine, alcoholism, anger management is some of the problems quite obvious with Kabir Khan.
Shahid who plays the alcoholic surgeon in the remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy has aced his role. He recently opened about the movie stating that his role required him to smoke cigarettes, beedis and snort cocaine for a major portion of the film.
While Shahid added that he doesn’t endorse smoking at all, but his role required him to do so. The most shocking part is when Shahid added that he’d to shower for about two hours every day before reaching home from the sets of Kabir Singh. The actor easily used to smoke 20 cigarettes a day.
