The announcement was made by Black Forest Games and THQ Nordic, and along with the announcement, they made sure to reveal a teaser to give the fans an idea of what they will be getting in the game.
In an interview, the developers revealed that this upcoming game would not be a remake. However, it will be a remake of the game that gamers remembered. According to a report from IGN, Destroy All Humans! remake will have the core elements of the original game intact. The game will be about destroying humans and their belongings such as houses, military bases, etc.
