The Plot of Season 2
Rewind to the spring of 2006, which was very eventful for the two most renowned jujutsu sorcerers, Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru, when they were tasked with a crucial mission by Tengen, an important and immortal figure in the jujutsu community.
Their task was to rescue and erase the “Star Plasma Vessel,” Amanai Riko, a girl chosen to merge with Tengen, and if they failed to do so, then they could say their goodbyes to the jujutsu world and its people. Enter Toji Fushiguro, an assassin who is determined to kill the Star Plasma Vessel.
As the season unfolds, the secrets of Gojo and Geto’s pasts, two individuals who will later be known as the most potent jujutsu sorcerer and the most malevolent curse user, respectively, are on the verge of revelation.
This season will adapt one of the most remarkable Shounen arcs in history, and it’s fantastic to see it come to life on screen. Mappa’s involvement in the anime adaptation just makes it more anticipated, giving the arc the treatment it deserves.
