The next chapter of Kimetsu no Yaiba will see Muzan attacking everywhere with his tentacles. The pillars are in a desperate situation, none of them can defend themselves. Muzan seems to be attacking Mitsuri, who manages to dodge the first blows. However, Mitsuri receives another attack and is seriously injured. Obanai rushes to help her, and it all gets very intense. Obanai tells a demon hunter to go find Yushiro to cure Mitsuri.
We then see an Obanai flashback and his past is described very well in it. When we return to the present, he claims that he will defeat Muzan at any cost and then die.
The officialfor Kimetsu no Yaiba Chapter 188 is on December 20, 2019. If you read the scans, expect them to come out by Friday, December 19, 2019.
