One Piece Episode 894 aired today and it was probably the best episode that we’ve gotten in Wano so far. Everything about today’s episode was top-notch in my opinion, and the direction by Aya Komaki was certainly over the top. We got see Luffy and Otama’s relationship get even better, with the two getting to know each other more.
Portgas D. Ace was also one of the main characters on this episode, although it was a flashback since Ace is already dead. Overall, the episode was a great experience and I think Wano Country has started off with a bang. From here onwards, we won’t be continuing with Wano Country though, as Stampede is almost upon us and that means the fillers are about to begin. So, let’s discuss that in this post.
Before we begin, please note this post may contain official spoilers from the next episode of the anime. If being spoiled is not for you, we suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started. Also, note that we did not create the spoilers or leaked them. They’re available all over the internet.
One Piece Episode 895: Boa’s Return
One Piece Episode 895 will mark the beginning of the filler arc for Stampede, and we’ll get to see the Strawhats together after a long time. Even though it is just filler, I’ve missed their interactions and I hope that the next episode delivers quality.
What’s more, it seems Boa Hancock is going to be a very active part of the upcoming filler episodes because she somehow ends up meeting with Luffy. Together, they’re probably going to take down the world’s strongest bounty Hunter.
For those of you wondering, One Piece Episode 895 and 896 will be filler. We will return to Wano Country after these two episodes, that means Luffy will come up against Basil Hawkins in One Piece Episode 897, which is set to air on August 13, 2019.
One Piece Episode 895 will air on July 28, 2019. You can watch it on Fuji TV if you’re in Japan, or stream it on Funimation, and Crunchyroll.
