Fan Reaction to the First Trailer
38 seconds. The trailer was only 38 seconds, but it managed to get a reaction out of fans like nothing ever could. “Crying, yelling, throwing up.” That’s the only way to describe how fans felt watching the few seconds of the Part 4 trailer. Uncontrollable excitement is an understatement when it comes to the reactions AOT fans are experiencing.
“I’ll see you again, Eren.” Words can’t fathom the goosebumps I felt, said a comment on YouTube. Fans have been left speechless, jaws dropped, as they imagine the intensity and heart-wrenching moments that await them in this climactic ending.
The trailer showed us nothing- no snippets of adrenaline-filled battles or changing panels of heart-breaking stories, just Mikasa’s voice, and that was enough to skyrocket our heartbeat. The excellent storytelling, with MAPPA’s stunning animation, brought tears to fans’ eyes, as one of the greatest pieces of media reaches its conclusion.
It’s a bittersweet feeling, undoubtedly. From experiencing the exciting first season to watching the shocking revelations of the previous seasons and parts, this series has left an unerasable dent in our hearts.
“Mikasa’s voice gives goosebumps. Hard to say goodbye to our favourite anime, man it’s been such a beautiful journey, lost so many pure souls and characters in this story. Wish I could erase my memory to rewitness it,” said a fan and we couldn’t agree more.
The series has sparked countless discussions and debates, inspired out-of-the-world fan art, and even created its unique cultural references and groups. Attack on Titan has not just entertained but has left a lasting impact on so many people, establishing itself as one of the best-ever anime to be created.
