Marvel Studios, on the verge of returning to the mainstream media, is grabbing every chance it gets to keep the fans invested and looking forward to their projects. With a whole year of zero projects, the studio giant kept on teasing and giving hints on their future projects, and right now, it is steadily looking forward to expanding its universe further and further. Marvel is also jacked with abundant movies and web-series along with some new introductions; note the very acquirement of rights to Fantastic Four and X-Men. Although the arrival of a Fantastic Four movie was already announced back with the other phase 4 announcements, X-men’s existence in the existing universe was still a question buzzing around.
So, now the arrival of X-men thus answered in one kind of way with President Kevin Feige in an interview officially confirming that Deadpool 3 is happening. Yes, Rated- R with Ryan Reynolds himself will be returning to fill the shoes again as the movie is the third installment from Fox’s own Deadpool franchise. We have to say that the fans were worried, even after the successful Deadpool 2 in 2016, about Ryan Reynolds’ future playing the hero again as per the new deal between Marvel and Fox, but now it seems like now it’s nothing to be worried about. So here we are, breaking down everything Kevin Feige has to say about the arrival of Deadpool into the MCU.

Deadpool 3 Confirmation From Kevin Feige
Marvel President Kevin Feige, who has constantly been promoting Marvel’s return to the mainstream with the upcoming Wanda Vision and all the projects slated for 2021, recently sat on an interview with Collider and confirmed Deadpool 3 is in development from the Marvel Studios itself. The news of Deadpool 3 being developed at Marvel Studios had already been broken last November. Still, a confirmation was just yet to be seen from the words of officials themselves and whether Ryan Reynolds is returning in the red suit or not.
Marvel President Kevin Feige, during an interview with Collider, quoted that Deadpool 3 will be Rated-R. The studios are working on the script and further revealed that Ryan Reynolds is overseeing the script. Feige revealed that although the movie won’t be filmed this year as Ryan Reynolds is quite busy, the studios are looking forward to the other projects coming and are quite happy that they have started working on Deadpool 3 as well. Kevin Feige further mentioned how another completely different character is set to join Marvel Cinematic Universe’s expanding universe and applauded Reynolds for his force of nature and how the actor can bring Deadpool so alive on the screen.
What To Expect From Deadpool’s Return?
Okay, Deadpool has always been a popular character among Marvel’s comic book fans, but the portrayal of Ryan Reynolds on-screen gave Deadpool another level of popularity. We have to admit, and nobody will be as perfect as Ryan Reynolds when it comes to fill-in shoes for the foul-mouthed sword striking Marvel character. So, it’s a moment of rejoicing for the fans because the deal between Marvel and Fox could have led to a recast, as seen in other cases, but here we have the good old Ryan Reynolds back.
The arrival of mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been the talk of the town for a while. There have been speculations that the upcoming Wanda Vision might sow seeds to the existence of arrival, plus let’s not forget an Ogun symbol from the nemesis of Wolverine in the comics was spotted in a leaked image from the sets of Falcon and Winter Soldier. It seems like Marvel has planned very specifically on introducing the mutant friends, but the news has broken with Deadpool’s arrival.
On the other hand, the arrival of Fox’s own Deadpool with Ryan Reynolds may be an answer to the upcoming multiverse. Of course, no one can deny the multiple castings of Marvel’s Spiderman’s third installment that sees a large number of characters from Sam Raimi’s version and Sony’s version of Spider-man coming into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ryan Reynolds’s Deadpool and X-Men are probably a result of those events from Spider-man 3 and Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness as teased by the studios.
We can predict that Deadpool might be coming in phase 5 because phase 4 is already stacked and announced already, but that doesn’t mean he is not coming soon. The fans know the nature of Deadpool as he constantly breaks the fourth wall crossing over universes with his witty one-liner. For example, remember how Deadpool transported through time at the end of his second installment and assassinated Ryan Reynolds himself before he signs in for Green Lantern. The upcoming Marvel’s Wanda Vision is experimenting with something similar, too, by introducing different sitcoms setups, time travel, and funny one-liners, so don’t be surprised if you see Deadpool appearing in one of them. Anyways, these are just theories, and we would like to talk more about them, so stay tuned to Otakukart News for more updates on your favorite shows, anime, and movies.
