Travel Guides, the Australian travel series premiered first on the Nine Network on 14 February 2017. It’s one of a kind TV show (certainly not the first of a kind) that focuses upon the travel itineraries of six groups of ordinary Australians. It is influenced by a similar programme of a UK production company, Studio Lambert which aired in 2015. The groups individually take upon themselves the job of traveling critics who have the same set of experiences. They travel the same week-long international and domestic holidays and review the same accommodation, cuisine, and local sights, etc.
If you may remember correctly, in March of 2018 a major casting call was announced for Travel Guides. This casting call was made to add newer members for the third Season. It required applicants to be 2-4 people, one of whom should at least be 21 years old, and available to travel between July & October. Which obviously means that Travel Guides Season 3 must have been taped.
Last year on 29 January 2018, Season 2 of Travel Guides aired. The countries on the travel itinerary were: Italy (January 29, 2018), Bali (February 5, 2018), New Zealand (February 19, 2018), South Africa (February 26, 2018), Vietnam (March 5, 2018), Tropical North Queensland (March 12, 2018), Sri Lanka (March 19, 2018), Western Australia (March 26′ 2018).
As for Season 3 premiere date, Newcastle’s Fren Family have confirmed that it will air in 2019. An exact air date as of now remains unknown. I guess that Travel Guides Season 3 should be out by the middle of 2019. We’ll update this page as soon as we have more information.
