My Hero Academia Chapter 221: Release Date And Spoilers
My Hero Academia Chapter 220 was a decent chapter. I enjoyed reading it to the fullest, and it lived up to its hype. This chapter is another great one that Horikoshi has delivered recently, and I want him to continue in the same way. My Hero Academia Chapter 220 was titled My Villain Academia, and it was basically a look at the life of the Villains.
We’ve not seen a lot of them since the Gentle Criminal arc began, and this arc was like a breath of fresh air for those who were waiting for some action from the Villains. We’ve seen them fighting against Gigantomachia now, and it seems they’re not doing so well.
Recently, we found out how they ended up in this position in the first place. In this post, we’ll be talking about My Hero Academia Chapter 221. Before we begin, I want to let you all know that this post may contain a bunch of spoilers from the anime, and the manga too. If you don’t want to get spoiled, I suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started.
So, this chapter made one thing clear, and that was the fact that Gigantomachia will be on the side of the Villains pretty soon. He just wants Shigaraki to prove to him that he’s worthy of being the successor of All For One. They’re struggling to fight him so far, but the Doctor might be able to help them somehow.
It is clear that Shigaraki will somehow be able to make Gigantomachia understand that he’s worthy. I think that will happen in the next chapter, and once that does happen, the league of villains will be back threatening everyone in the city. With the power of Gigantomachia, and the financial backing of the Doctor, they’ll definitely be back.
Here are the official spoilers as promised:
Yes, we do continue the flashback, and in it, we see everyone struggling. It seems that the Doctor is talking to them about how he knows Gigantomachia and All For One. He has also devoted everything to All For One but isn’t confident in the abilities of Shigaraki just yet. The doctor also talks to the League and says that his name is Daruma Ujiko which has got me really excited. He says that he invited Shigaraki there out of respect for All For One.
He goes on to say that Shigaraki is just a leftover and he needs to prove to everyone why he is going to take over the mantle of All For One. For now, he certainly isn’t doing that. Towards the end, he asks Shigaraki about what there is that he can show to him and Shigaraki is finally going to answer.
The chapter seems interesting, but I don’t think it’s as good as I expected it to be. There is too little development, but hopefully, this isn’t all that happens in the chapter. I hope to see more.
My Hero Academia Chapter 221 drops on March 25, 2019. The scans will be out on March 22, 2019.
