Brooklyn Nine-Nine returns today, and the first episode of season 6 picks up right where we left off with season 5. This was one of the most relieving beginnings to a season experienced by fans because the show was canceled by Fox last year, and that left the fans with a hole in their hearts.
However, that cancellation didn’t last. Brooklyn Nine-Nine was saved by NBC, who swooped in the last minute and thus, we have our Season 6 today. That’s not all!
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6 was originally supposed to have 13 episodes, but it got increased to 18 after this change of networks was made. So I guess it did more good than harm. When you think about it, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a show that always belonged on NBC anyway.
Coming over to Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6, the show officially returned today, and the first episode was called “Honeymoon.” The episode took the story forward from the cliffhanger of Season 5, and surprisingly, many fans’ predictions were right.
As you can see, things look very exciting and the preview for the season does give us some exciting things to look forward to. Jake Peralta is overly excited about the Christmas movie about a cop who has a very bad day at Nakatomi Plaza. As far as the episodes go, the first episode of the season has already aired on January 10 on NBC at 9 pm.
We’re now looking forward to the second episode of the season, which is, Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6 Episode 2: Hitchcock and Scully and it will air on 1/17/19. For those of you who have missed the episode, you can also stream it on NBC’s official Website.
