With its Kia Niro EV, the company making their footing even stronger in this competitive small crossover game. This car offers better features and designs than before. The company has also added a perfect battery which has a driving range of 239 after only one charge and with 100 kW DC fast charger. On the inside, it might have either a 7 or an 8-inch touchscreen which depends on the model. Also, there is a 7-inch TFT LCD panel in the center of the digital instrument that provides information directly in front of the driver. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard which includes integrated Bluetooth and voice recognition. Wireless phone charging comes standard in the higher, EX Premium trim.
Niro EV possesses a 150-kW permanent magnet synchronous motor which produces 201 horsepower and 291 pound-feet of torque. With this engine, the car can go up to 0-62 miles per hour in 7.8 seconds, and Niro EV has a maximum speed of 104 mph. This 64-kWh lithium-ion battery provides an estimated 239 of driving with a single charge. This battery takes up to 59 hours on a typical level 1 mobile charger. On the other hand, on a level 2 charge that can be installed in the garage will take only 9 hours and 35 minutes. With its DC fast charger, Niro EV will be able to replenish 80% of its battery in just one hour. Moreover, Niro EV gives a mileage of 123 in cities, 102 on the highway, and 112 overall. With this, you will be able to save a lot of money driving the Niro EV instead of a gas-powered car, as the EPA estimates the cost of driving 100 miles at a mere $3.92. This car isn’t available nationwide, but it will be available in the following states:-

• New York
• Rhode Island
Niro EV will come in two models: EX and EX Premium.
EX:- This model will come in with a standard cloth and artificial leather seats, leather seats, leather steering wheel, climate, auto climate control and charging scheduling functions, adaptive cruise control, seven-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity and voice recognition, smart key with push-button start.
EX Premium:- This model will add power tilt/slide sunroof, leather seat trim, 10-way power driver seat, heated and ventilated front seats, eight-inch touchscreen with navigation, Harman Kardon sound system, wireless phone charging, rear parking distance warning. The price and release date of this car hasn’t been revealed, but it was revealed to us by Kia that it is expected to have the similar price of that of Hyundai Kona Electric which starts at $37,495. It will release in the summer of this year.
