Satoshi aims to battle the Supreme Monarch Dande and Goh wants to catch every pokemon to work his way up to Mew. Satoshi and Gohy travel on the boat to capture Mew. The two reach Cello Island and Goh uses his special sensor to pick up Mew’s psychic energy. They started to encounter different Pokemon and the battle and catches them. Sometime later they encounter the legendary Clone Pokemon Mewtwo. Goh said that he is going to catch Mewtwo and learns more about him.
Mewtwo said that he is the strongest pokemon and he is created to be the world’s strongest. Satoshi asks Mewtwo to battle with him and he agrees. The two ask Metwo to battle them in a 2v1 battle that they got thrashed. Mewtwo praises them after the battle since they are good humans who abuse Pokemons. He vanishes with his crew telling them that this is just the beginning of their journey. All of a sudden the two got teleported back to Director Sakuragi’s Lab and they are confused about how it happened.

The next day at Kuchiba City there is Pokemonn Eating Contest. The announcer said that proud eaters have gathered again in the city from all over. Standing in the way of the new faces that are brimming with confidence are last year’s champ, Kabigon, and regular eating fighter. The announcer reveals that they have a special guest the globe-trotting legend of the eating world Kaiser Burshamon. The winner of the contest will receive a free trip to Isshu plus eating gourmet Isshu food.
Satoshi and Goh are participating in the contest and the reason behind their participation happened several days earlier. Earlier the two were feed different groups of Pokemon who ate like they are competing. Later the two hear about the contest and decide to join to see how pokemon Hoshigarisu will perform. Back to the present, the contest begins. The top ten contestants who eat most berry platters will make it through.
Team Rocket is also there in disguise and some pokemon are getting disqualified for cheating and breaking stuff. After a long eating battle, Goh advanced to the final with Hoshigarisu. Hoshigarisu was about to be defeated and he forces himself to eat more. He then evolves to Yokubarisu who broke the eating record and won the contest. Everyone cheers for Goh and Yokubarisu who show great teamwork.
