Not long ago, it was confirmed that The 100 will return for the seventh installment. Season 6×1 aired on April 30, 2019. But the renewal news came to us before that. The 100 is an apocalyptic sci-fi fantasy show. It’s also sad that Season 6 premiere episode became the lowest rated show on Tuesday. But now for, Clarke and co. are coming back for Season 7 and no one can change that.

The confirmation news came straight from The CW, as it confirmed it had ordered a fresh batch of episodes for the apocalyptic sci-fi series. This news was also supplemented with a raft of other renewals for CW. I mean, the CW is kissing goodbye to most of its shows such iZombie and Jane The Virgin, Supernatural and Arrow. This is the top CW crop that we are talking about.

Naturally, holes in The CW’s schedule were left and the network has to rely on something. The 100 is therefore required to plug in the gap. Season 6 of The 100 arrived in the US from April 30 and not in the UK. We’re still waiting for a word on UK air date. And we don’t think it is too distant in the future, we sure can expect to see it on E4. The 100 previously has aired in the UK in May and we think it will follow the same pattern this year too.

As for Season 7 air date, it will be likely here in April 2020, judging by what we have seen in the past. CW President Mark Pedowitz had tested Season 7 back in January of 2019 saying Showrunner Jason Rothenberg had a really good idea for his seventh season. It’s too soon to guess things on the trailer, but we are hoping it comes out in April 2020.

This article will be updated when more information is available.
